We just can't figure out why it will not play on TV. If we try to play the finished MPEG2 file created through Cyberlink PowerDirector 13 on Windows Media Player, it also plays fine there.

But we can't even drop the Cyberlink MPEG2 file into our newest version of Pinnacle which is Pinnacle Studio 17 Ultimate. We can take that MPEG2 file and render it through Pinnacle Studio 12 software to make another MPEG2 file out of the Cyberlink MPEG2 file and it then plays fine on TV. We also have 2 versions of Pinnacle Studio Ultimate software.

We can hear the audio, but the video does not show. The MPEG2 file will not play the video on TV, it just shows a black screen. I also take that same MPEG2 file, put it into KeyWest Technology software, which is a program we use to upload our video files to a player at our cable provider that then sends the video out to our tv channel. I then take that MPEG2 file and produce a DVD which plays fine. After editing is completed on a video project, and I go to PRODUCE the project into a file, I am producing an MPEG2 DVD quality standard definition file of my project.

I am editing this footage using Cyberlink PowerDirector 13 Ultimate Suite that I am using on a Windows 7 64 bit operating system. I work for a City that has a local cable television public access channel in which we shoot video of local events, edit the footage to make a television show, and air the completed video on our channel.
